Cecilia Weckstrom’s ‘Jeeves’

August 18th, 2008 by admin bikes

Hi all -

Here’s my latest build, from a no-name set of components I went for a really retro old-school fixie I’ve decided to call ‘Jeeves’, simply as it looks like it could feature on the filmset of a P.G Wodehouse novel.

Beyond the no-name components, it has some MKS pedals, a Charge Ladle saddle (deliberately aged with some wet&dry to make it look old and weathered), some Nitto moustache bars, Brooks bar tape, a simple Dia Compe brake lever and Cheng Shin Tires 700 x 28, nylon, branded CST Super HP - sold in the West under the Maxxis brand.. and a lovely Japanese brass bell with a ding loud enough to frighten pedestrians to death from a long way away
