andrew combe’bianchi pista
’sup burner?
here is my 2nd fixie that i sold before i left chicago.i am originally from sydney , australia and now live in tempe , arizona with my wife.there was a huge fixed gear “scene” in chicago.lots of nice bikes to look at.
the bike:mostly a standard bianchi pista-frame set/crankset/bb/headset/stem.
i got the paint and stickers off with paint remover , a razor blade and a lot of paitence.the pics show a few peices changing over time as i rode it to work every day in the crazy chicago weather(snow and ice -30c to high humidity 30c).
i added some new wheels i bought on ebay mavic rims on formula hubs.a fizik pave saddle (very comfortable).and some old mountain bars i cut myself with bmx grips from yojimbos garage (an awesome bike shop in chicago-hey marcus!google it!).
keep riding,
andrew

My bike is a Mongoose Moutain Bike with a bottle holder, lock chain, pack rack, and lights, so with all that weight there is no way I could keep up with you and your movements…
How are you Andrew - it has been way too long between laughs… speaking of which I have just ordered the game “Tall Stories” for James’ 30th birthday.
Fancy singing One More River again someday? Reepin and a rollin - ha ha ha.
Love to you and your new family - aahhh it’s a small world.
